Good fit, sheds water, ear flaps are not fleece lined.
Great Hat

Nice styling, comfortable, fits well, sheds water, and good value. Ear flaps are padded but not fleece lined on outside (maybe the fleece is inside). Interior is double lined with a fine mesh and a nylon shell. Logo of a cat tail plant. It would be nice if the ear flaps were longer to fully cover larger ears. I sewed in a 550 cord chin strap for windy days. Very happy with the purchase.
Not as advertised. Causes you to sweat.

Looks nice and takes you back to yester-year in the duck blind.
Ear flaps are not fleeced lined. Hat is not wax coated and if it is they sure fooled me.
It appears to have a plastic liner in it for its water repellent qualities which makes the hat hot. Which brings me to my next complaint.
If you want to look good and sweat just sitting still, buy this hat.
If you want to be comfortable and kick it old school, your better off hunting down an old Duxbak Jones hat on eBay.

I wear 7 3/8 hat and ordered a large which should have meant it would be a tight fit. When it arrived it was much too large. Either mis-sized or poor manufacturing. As stated previously it has a thin layer of plastic in the inside which, if the hat had fit, I’m sure would be terribly hot. It has a mesh liner also which keeps you from removing the plastic without conducting major surgery. I was really excited to find a Jones hat but this ain’t the one!
Good looking garbage

Purchased this hat a year ago and wore it once. I honestly forgot about it till seeing a FB ad for it. So here goes:
Looks old school. Hat is not waxed canvas and instead has a plastic liner in it for water proofing. Your head will burn up and sweat while sitting still in the stiffest North Wind.
Don’t waste your money.
Plastic liner is garbage

Hat itself is awesome. Like others have mentioned, it has a very thin plastic liner similar to Saran Wrap and a net liner. I cut the net liner and plastic film out with a razor blade.
Rubbed Sno Seal all over it and used a heat fun to help it soak in. Now it’s the perfect duck hunting hat.
