Need to emprove on the quality of material used in making it

The pole works great if it isn't extended but you extend it out to the full 18" and try hooking a decoy, the last couple of feet is to weak and the pole ends up bending and makes telescoping the pole nearly impossible. You can try and bend it back but it can't be straightened completely so you can't collapse it all the way. Try pulling in a full size Canada goose floater and you can forget about it! Also if using it in cold weather, it is not always the easiest to rotate it so you can extend and collapse it so plan on taking off any gloves you might have on so you can grip it tight enough to accomplish that.

Excellent for pothole hunting.

by David Allen

Used this pole in North Dakota this week. Worked very well on my decoys and retrieving ducks. Also used it as a walking stick in that terrible mud. The only problem I had was on a 20 degree morning when it froze and I could not extend it, no matter how I tried. The next morning I extended it as soon as I got to where I was hunting.
