Outboard manufacturers do not recognize or provide model years for their engines. Due to this, model year designations on purchase documentation will vary by state and financial institution.

Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's do not accept returns of any Mercury gas motors once gas or oil has been added, or Mercury electric motors once the motor has been installed or battery charged. Motors that meet this criteria must be taken to an authorized service center for repair, which may be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Mercury's Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO) will be mailed to the order billing address within 5-7 days after the motor is delivered.
