The Mepps® Musky Killer® Spinner is a great early-season musky lure. Musky season opens early on many shallow northern musky lakes, and fishing these cold waters with inline spinners can be the key to early season success. A deliberate presentation is needed; try slow-cranking a Mepps Musky Killer through shallow bays and large flats with emerging weeds. It's also an excellent warm-water spinner for burning over mature weedbeds; be sure to tick the tops to trigger more strikes. Can be cast or trolled (where legal).
