Description

Steyr-Daimler Puch A.G Model 1950 chambered in 7x64mm. This rifle was made in Austria by Steyr Arms in 1952 and features a 24"blued barrel with a dovetailed blade front sight on a fine serrated ramp base that is fixed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a fixed "U" notched blade on a barrel mounted base. A second blade flips up and is marked "300". This also has a German "HENSOLDT WETZLAR DIAVARI - 1,5 - 6X" variable power scope with see through high mounts. The left side of the receiver is marked "STEYR-DAIMLER-PUCH A.G., STEYR" and with a round "STEYR in a bullseye logo covered by the scope mount. The left side of the barrel shank is marked with a "52" date code, "eagle" proof mark and with a Vienna "NPv" smokeless powder proof mark. The left side of the chamber ring is marked with a "52" date code and "eagle" proof mark. The right front side chamber ring is marked with the serial number and importer is marked on the rear. The stock is a checkered walnut one piece stock with a capped pistol grip, straight comb with European-style cheekpiece, sling swivels front and rear, and a serrated hard rubber butt plate. This also has an internal 5 shot rotary magazine. Overall this rifle shows some minor use marks, but remains in very good condition for its age.
