The Vaultek® LifePod® SIG Edition Biometric Safe is a tried-and-true, intensely tested portable pistol safe that you can rely on. This SIG SAUER® safe fits handguns up to 7.75" long. You can access the safe quickly through multiple methods. The touch-activated keypad accepts 4–8-digit codes. This version of the LifePod SIG Edition also features a biometric scanner for even faster entry into the safe. The built-in lock system has an anti-lockpick feature that disables the front keyway. This portable case is powered by a 9V battery (not included) and lasts for about a year with a full battery. If the battery should die during your travels, you can use the hidden micro-USB port to power your case so you can still have access to its contents. If you choose not to power the safe, it can still act as a water-resistant case. The safe locks and seals shut thanks to an anti-impact dual-latch design and inner rubber gasket. This system creates a seal that makes the safe airtight, dustproof, and able to float. It's made of drop-tested T3™ polymer housing built to last. This safe is TSA-compliant.
