Crazy warm, not very durable
by Anthony
As an insulating layer this vest is out of this world, it's light weight, stays put, doesn't ride up and crazy warm. I wore this vest with a mid weight core for walking in and setting up down into the low 20's without ever even thinking of getting cold. As an insulation layer vest is 5 stars all the way.
Overall durability of the vest is the downfall. Sitka lists this as an outer layer. DO NOT WEAR AS OUTER LAYER. Rips very easily. Had the dog stand up for me to pet her and ripped the vest from just the weight of her front foot being on me. Sending to Sitka for repairs.... Overall durability of the vest 2 stars.
If you're looking for a vest to put under your waders and under your duck oven or other jacket/shell it can't be beat. Just be careful wearing it exposed or you'll be kicking yourself like I am.
Great vest

Love this vest. Been wearing with other Sitka products in 9 degree temps. Keeps you toasty warm.
