Sitka Duck Oven Jacket
Details
Details
The Duck Oven is an insulation piece that can be worn as an outer layer or a super warm mid layer. The high neck collar helps retain heat and thumb loops keep the cuffs low across your knuckles to provide extra hand warmth when gloves just get in the way. Lower pockets serve as hand warmers when the jacket is worn alone, upper chest pockets are accessible when worn with waders or bibs, and an additional zippered chest pocket stashes small essentials.

Versatile and Warm
by TylerB
Unbelievable product! It's the perfect layering jacket. With the Prima Loft and wind stopper, you'll never get cold. In 20 degree weather and 30 mph winds, I had to take off my Hudson jacket because the Duck oven was all I needed.
The name Duck Oven says it all!!

The Duck Oven is a go to piece on the cold mornings. It's a soft shell piece that can be worn as an insulation layer or an outer layer. The windstopper keeps those cold north winds out and keeps you very warm!
Old vs New.

I had an older Duck Oven.and wore it as a layer under my Delta Wading Jacket. Then I sold it and bought a new Duck Oven Jacket. It’s a stand alone coat and too thick to wear under my Hudson. Wish I still had my old one.

Hands down one of the best jackets I’ve ever owned. Fits perfect and keeps me warm throughout the late season!
Amazing

Great quality jacket and great comfort. Blocks all wind and blocks water too. I’ve had mine for about a year now and the material hasn’t faded, ripped, or anything in that nature.

Very comfortable and light jacket, perfect for all my waterfowl needs as it really keeps me warm. This jacket is for sure the way to go if you’re trying to stay warm!
Great late season jacket.

This jacket is perfect for cold duck hunts. It’s windproof and warm. It’s my go to for late season hunts. It’s worth the money.

I have only used it one time but it seems nice and warm without being really bulky
Good cold weather gear

I wore it out in -30 windchill while out deer hunting this weekend with a dakota hoodie from Sitka as well. I also use the duck oven under my boreal aerolite coat for when it gets really cold here. I like how the duck oven doesn’t have a hood for layering purposes.
The only issue is where the two fabrics meet in the belly button line, the stitching could have been better as it can rub you raw, if you only have on a thin layer with it for early season.
Zippper issues

I've had it 1 1/2 years & now the zipper does not stayed zip it breaks open. The teeth of the zipper on mine are small white in color. Dont know if they've upgraded them on the new ones.

Awesome jacket, just got back from a pheasant hunt in the pouring rain, dry and toasty the entire hunt.
