Details
Pennington Rackmaster Trophy Radish is a fast growing Radish that produces huge yields both above and below the ground. The high protein and lush tender leaves make it highly attractive during hunting season. Once the Radish dies in the winter the plant turns into rich organic matter and releases nitrogen to improve your soil. Trophy Radish is preferred by deer and contains a protein range of 20% to 43%.
Features:
Rate: 10 lbs. per acre or 1/2 lb. per 1000 square feet
Depth: 1/4 inch maximum
Planting Method: Prepare a smooth firm seedbed by plowing and dragging the soil. This will remove all vegetation and debris from the site thus eliminating competition. Fertilizer and lime can be applied during this step so it can be worked into the soil. Broadcast the seed at the recommended rate evenly across the area and use a light drag or cultipacker to cover the seed. Making good seed/soil contact is the key to establishing a productive food plot.
