Shhhhhh, Undiscovered Quality....

by Nate

So, I'll start by stating that I make an Excel spread sheet for everything in my life to help compare things. In comparing others to this, never owning a Natgear product, I took a gamble. Hands down, best choice in gear I have made (other than some high dollar fishing waders). Quality layout, design and material. 4 stars because I haven't used it in the field yet, but I know it will out perform my old jacket that rhymes with "bake" based on material weight, cut and quality of connection (zippers, etc.) I'll update at the end of the season.

Great coat but order next size up

by Al

Real nice coat. I am a 46 and ordered a XL. Way small. Exchanged for a XXL and fits good. No ducks but was comfortable in the blind and at the launchings.

Warm jacket , fits well

by Scott

Jacket is very warm and fits good. First day I used it in MD, the outer chest pocket fell completely off. Not really needed though

Great value from MPW

by Larry

I really like the coat and its features. It has kept me dry during my 2 rainy day hunts so far. I like the materials and the look and fit of the jacket. I haven't needed to use the liner, but it should be fine,
There are a couple of features that I think the manufacturer should address . #1 the shell loops in the pockets are of now value the way they have sewn them in. about the only thing that would fit in them is an rpg. i can put three 3 inch shells in each loop and they would fall out. poor layout when sewing them in, #2 The chest hand warmer pockets are of no value as hand warmers. If you can get your hands into them, you would be hard pressed to get them out and react to making a shot. They need to be lower on the chest or eliminated as a feature of the coat.

Overall I am satisfied with the quality and the value of the coat and would recommend it as long as you know the 2 issues I have addressed. Would have been 5 stars if the shell loops were usable.
