For almost 50 years, the National Wild Turkey Federation has been working to outpace the challenges that erode the health of the wild turkey population across North America. Yet still today, insufficient habitat management, the division and development of previously untouched lands, and a reduction in funding and resources have resulted in the loss of healthy habitat for the wild turkey and many other game and nongame species. It is critical that all hunters and conservationists unite to conserve this iconic bird and the lifestyle we love.
