Highly recommended for securely transporting long crappie rods
by Todd
Good design. Very strong. Adjustments allow for multiple configurations. Can face inward, outward, lean in, lean out, store rods vertically, horizontally, or somewhere in between. I added a snap lock knob to the bottom adjustment bolts for on the go adjusting. They should sell them in sets of threes instead of pairs. I will probably buy another pair to obtain a 3rd rack for better support across the length of longer rods. Should be easy enough to sell the remaining rack. I mounted mine on horizontal clamp-on-brackets on my accessory rail. The ability to change lean the rod storage outward allows me to use with a Bimini top. When I get back to the ramp, I can lean back into the boat to clear the trailer's guide poles. It would be an easy matter to fabricate a locking plate to use with them.
Good Experience with Mack's - Good Product to meet my needs!

Preliminary Review:
1st time ordering from Mack's (so a little bit cautious), turns out Mack's was great! Rec'd order confirmation e-mail, received shipment notification e-mail (though the link to tracking did not work). Which didn't bode well for confidence in dealing with a first time order - but nonetheless, the order arrived in perfect condition and exactly as described.
Have NOT installed this yet on my boat, but upon opening the packaging, it appears well made and suitable for my needs. I've been looking for something that will work in a 17 foot stern drive fishing boat for better securing multiple rods and keeping them safe & protected from damage. Now I just have to figure out the idea location to mount it. Very excited since my one under-floor rod lockers is too short to accept virtually all of my rods (well, I guess my ice-fishing rods would fit ;-)
Thanks Macks!

Fantastic product very solid and heavy build. I would suggest for anyone need to haul long poles to get one.
