McAlister Wax Retreatment Spray is used to re-treat the wax coating on your waxed cotton canvas McAlister gear or any waxed canvas clothing. Each can of McAlister Wax Spray a generous amount of wax spray and will treat 1 jacket, two pants or 1 bib. in your freshly treated waxed cotton outerwear. Mr Rooster will be proud to fall to your smooth bore. How do you know when it is time for a retreatment or reproofing? Well most apparel will need a new wax application during their second season of use. Or if you notice that the garment is developing dry spots. that may appear uneven, shiny or where moisture no longer beads. Reproofing the area that shows wear is adequate, but a complete reproof is normally required after the garment has been washed. Reproofing will bring your garment back to its original water-resistant finish. Reproofing will make your waxed apparel last for season after season and, because the McAlister Wax Spray treatment is easy to use, it is recommended for those new to waxed cotton apparel as well as those that enjoyed this classic look for decades.
