MPW Keel Hook Decoy Anchor Weights with Cords - Dozen

Do not purchase these anchor weights! The lead keel hook part is fine, molds are a little low quality. But the rubber cords are horrible.
I bought them at the end of duck season last year, rigged up my new decoys. And when i pulled them out a week before opener this season, every one but three rubbers where broken. I rigged them exactly the way i have every other keel hook weight. And have had no problems with my 6 year old Green Head Gear rubbers. No they were not stored somewhere hot or weathered. They were all stored in their decoy bags in my garage, with all other hundred decoys.
MPW needs to drastically change the rubber to a good durable compound, otherwise don't bother buying.

I purchased these at the beginning of hunting season in October. I have lost approximately 10 due to the chords breaking. The rubber is weak and prone to breaking. Save your money.

Yes, the Rubber deteriorates...dont wrap or lock the weights under tension. I've had mine for three seasons and they are mostly (75%) going strong. Having good decoy bags is a huge must for proper storage.
