great sweater
by docboots
This is a quality piece of clothing. I recently used it for a Argentinian dove hunt. I also used it for a trip to London. It really does tame the wind. Equally at home in the field or on the street. This would be a much more expensive sweater if it was made by some of the big name companies.
Perfect

Great jacket, fits well, comfortable in and out of the blind
Can't beat it.

I got the 1/4 zip for Xmas. Used it in an open water blind accessed by a small skiff, 2.25 mi offshore in Pamlico Sound, NC on 28 Dec. Wind 25 gusting to 35, Temp 21 at daybreak, do the math.. Yeah, it STOPPED the wind dead. which was necessary and very good, or it may have been a serious problem. This is the bomb for ducking; can't beat wool for warmth when wet, no wind pass through = warm +. Put a hood on this rascal and I'll wear nothing else when ducking.
The only drawback I could find is it has a distinct and persistent chemical odor that's hard to get rid of (noticeable by close companions). Its virtually un-washable according to the tag, (no dryclean, no machine, no dryer, wipe with damp cloth, use gentle detergent.) Even after washing by hand it retained the chemical smell (noticed by a different hunter downwind), which makes it difficult for use in a deer stand. Fix this and its game on.,
Casual wear
by Ron
I bought this sweater as a casual wear item. It has been excellent in wind breaking and warmth. I liked it so well that I bought a second. hope they make it in a gray color in the future so I can buy it to coordinate with other clothes.
Get one. Whether its for the office or the field. Almost perfect.

Absolutely one of my favorite waterfowl pieces. It started as a 'nice jacket' but the wool pills really badly. However, after this began I started hunting in it and by gosh, woukdnt you kniw it, exactly what its made for. Sheds light rain. Warm as hell. Not QUITE breathable, but not a pbc shell. One downdide to the Jacket version, is that it gets a little frumpy looking around the midsection from general pocket use and cut of the jacket.
All this being said, ill be ordering another jacket this year in green. I refuse to buy the 1/4zip, This jacket is too warm to 'set it and forget it' for most arkansas days except for those really good late season days. If they would add a form fitting hood somehow, i'd buy 10. You wont regret your purchase. Get one.
Order larger size.

Order a size larger than normal. You cannot laundry or dry clean it. Would like to see made in USA not China.

Best Waterfowl Sweater on the Market
by Nbryant
Just purchased my second sweater this year, this is the ultimate waterfowl sweater! I wore my first one for seven seasons and it's still in good shape, I just got a little bigger and needed to go up a size. Very very warm and comfortable, I've never gotten cold in it down to zero degree temps. I'll add a vest when it gets frigid cold but other than that it works great by itself. Definitely worth the money!
No Wash Garment
by Robert
The sweater runs a little small, especially in sleeve length. Had I known you cannot wash this garment in the washing machine, I would not have purchased. Very disappointed.
Great idea. Needs improved stitching.

Stitching on the interior liner popped after wearing it one time, so now the whole seam is coming undone. Really nice jacket apart from that.
Must have versatility

Great midseason coat good mid layer in cold or wet weather.
