I bought the JX3 before last season. I never used a saddle before and had primarily hunted out of treestands. After reading reviews about the comfort, I bought one. Although it’s not as light or compact as a traditional saddle, the comfort and being able to sit much longer outweighs the extra weight. It also allows me to get in trees that my climber won’t. As for the quality, it seems to be well made. I haven’t had any issues going in to my second season with it.

Shipping was fast, I live 3 states away and it was on the porch in 3 days. I’ve got to spend a few days in the saddle and it has been more comfortable than I was expecting. I compared mine to a friends traditional saddle pack (sticks, ropes, and all) and there was no noticeable difference and I can be up a tree as fast as he can even at 6ft tall and 300lb (overweight) It fits good and feels good and I laugh when my friend is fiddling around because he can’t get comfortable sitting, standing, or leaning. I recommend the JX3 to anyone and everyone! Don’t get caught up on the saddles listed weight, you don’t feel the weight on your back like you do in your hand and the sit/set-up makes the carry worth it.
