To create the Hook's Messenger Deer Grunt Call Hooks Custom Calls began by researching video footage that the growing deer team had collected of free range deer grunting. They wanted to design a call that mimicked the sound of a younger buck. After months of research and development the Messenger was field tested during the 2015 deer season with numerous deer responding to the call.
