Great!

by Old Trapper

Have experimented last few years with various types of shotgun ammo. This is becoming a go to for me. Its expensive, probably too expensive but I shoot half as many of these shells. Very few second shots or swatters needed. I believe 6's are the way to go, more pellets denser pattern and plenty of energy to penetrate at distance. 4's will crush a goose. Had to readjust my thinking on shot size. Tungsten is heavy. My last experience on the river with my brother. Setting over decoys 35yds was outide limit of decoys. Shot my 5 all single shots with a 20 ga and tungsten. My brother shooting 12ga and steel right beside me shot every duck except one 2 or 3 times. I think he is converted but he is cheap. : )) Hope this helps some new guys. I'm and old duffer cut my teeth on lead.
