Hip boots + Shallow water Waterfowling = Right Choice for the Duck Blind

by Joe Guide OWAA Outdoor Writer

Here is a wader for this century, and will not rip you on a briar like other rubber hip boots. Sometimes...the hip boot is the choice for the dignifined Wingshooter and waterfowler who just doesn't care for chest waders and wants to keep it simple and old school method is the hip boot as you can see in JOE GUIDE YOUTUBE VIDEOS. Now...you get you a pair of these bad boys... and keep your toes--- warm and dry and tosty this waterfowl season.

Don’t waste your money

I purchased a pair of Georgia Boot hip waders in the spring of this year. When I waded in knee deep water the 3rd time I wore them the right Boot leaked at the knee. I returned the boots and was sent another pair. The second pair leaked in the same place the first time I wore them. It’s October and I’m still waiting on my refund from Georgia Boot.

Yours might work well but mine didn’t

by Daniel

Got these roughly a month ago. Started leaking around the top of right boot on the 3rd use, leg and foot was wet from mid-calve down. Probably got 6 total hours of use with these before the leak. Never taken through briars or brush and was hung up to dry after every use. A pair of $30 Hodgeman’s from Walmart would have lasted me longer. I also have to say that my camo crocs offer better grip on wet rocks than these. Not my first set of bad waders but I was definitely expecting a little better out of these.
