Made from a pre-sharpened 1/4 inch diameter 24 inch fiberglass rod the UMS features a stainless steel spring with enough tension to handle even the heaviest shells and full bodies. The sliding disk design keeps your decoys level while giving them motion in light breezes as well as in wind gusts. Simply drill one small hole in the back of any shell-style or full body decoy insert a UMS and see your spread come to life!

Good cheap way to improve shell type decoys

These stakes get my shells up off the ground so that they both move and cast shadows. I had a guide tell me that except for snow, he doesn't like the look of shells lying in the field. These stakes are a great way to expand the "full body" presence of my set.
