I LOVE THE LOOK OF MY SLX. It was extremely hard to open even a young guy had trouble. We lightly greased and I opened repeatedly and shot approx. 200 xs . A Combination of locking the stock in my armpit & grabbing the for end low has helped. It is starting to get better . The wood grain in my stock is very nice the stocks on lesser grades was very plain. It is very light and nice for field carry. Had a hard time finding one and the flush choke tubes were hard to find . Not that it shoots any better than lower grades I love all the features and the lower cost was great. I would love to see a 28 gauge and also it would be cool if they extended the trigger guard with scroll work down the grip. This would make it look ever better on the gun rack ! I would give it a 4.5 starrs
