Not an Extended Service Lantern

The original product description for this lantern indicated that it had a high and low range, with 275+ hours extended service in low range. When I received the light, it had no high/low range switch. I called MPW Customer Service, they examined their in-stock lanterns, and discovered they had no high/low range switches either. MPW has since modified their product description.. I was offered a refund if I returned the lantern, but shipping costs about as much as the lantern is worth. So, I'll just grumble and change the 4 AA batteries every 40 hours of service.
