Drake Guardian Elite Front Zip Insulated Wader

I've had these for several weeks but was finally able to put them to the test in sub-freezing temperatures. They were terrific! This was my first opportunity to give them a real test and I'm very pleased. I wore them several hours to launch our boat, set decoys, sit for hours in the blind, and then reverse the order . I wore these with a medium weight sock and thermal underwear, They fit well and were comfortable in and out of the water. I'm 5'-7", medium build, and I was concerned they might be too tall but they stopped at a comfortable height and allowed a warm vest inside and fit well with my layered waterfowl jackets over the top. The best feature, however, is the zippered front. Not only does it provide for use without removing all your top outwear, zipping them down also makes them relatively easy to slip on and off compared to non zipper models I've owned before. The only improvement I'd suggest would be to extend the camo to just above the knee area.

The waders fit and wore really good. The only complaint is that two side zippers broke with in my first two hunts with them. Lost some expensive shotgun shells.

Having the zippered front is so nice especially being a full figured fella like myself! Lol Boots are comfortable and kept my feet nice and warm even after having to break some ice and 20 plus mph winds. Do not hesitate to get a pair of these!

The most comfortable wader that I've ever worn. The zipper front makes it so easy to get on and off. The new boots are amazing to put your feet in, it's almost the same as wearing sneakers. I usually make long walks hunting public land and it's nothing to wear these the entire walk. They are light, comfortable, durable and just top of the line when it comes to waders.

Love the front zipper and expanded size selection. Fits great and allows great movement!

Great fit, the zip is great for a big guy! The pockets are deep and warm and has a hand warmer pocket on top of the pockets. And a 3 year no questions warranty..

these waders have provided me with the comfort and protection I need in a hunt. No leaks and have been used for multiple seasons. They fit me like a glove.

Outstanding Waders with noticeable changes, and innovation. The fit is excellent, and the boots are very comfortable. The new boot design has just the right amount of room to wear a lighter sock and not feel loose - or heavier sock and not feel tight. Well Done Drake!

The T-Zip is really nice for being able to dig into lower pockets on jackets underneath. Plus just easier overall when putting waders on

I believe this wader is the best wader on the market. This wader compared to other brands could easily be marketed in the $850-1,000 price range. Plus they come with a three year no hassle warranty!

I’ve been having these waders for not even a full year and both the hand zipper pockets have broken off. So now the water feels up the pockets every time I got hunting , there’s also a leak in the crotch area. Waiters are extremely bulky only way they fit good is if your over 6 foot.
