Drake Ghillie Layout Blind with Spring Loaded Bonnet

I'm a new waterfowl hunter this season and had borrowed a traditional trap door style layout blind from a buddy on my first goose hunt. I knew it was too difficult to set up and not nearly roomy enough for me. I'm a bigger guy, 6'2" and broad-shouldered. The Ghillie blind fast opening bonnet is a wayyyy better design in my opinion. I used it on only my second hunt and was the first guy out of their blind already dropping geese while the other, more experienced hunters, were still fumbling out of their trap door blinds. Plenty of room to store a bag, water, snacks, etc. inside. Plenty of brush straps all around to attach foliage. I bought some synthetic blind grass and zip tied around the whole thing and it looks great. Very lightweight to carry and easy quick set up in the field. I do wish there was some sort of semi rigid structure to the bottom instead of just a sleeping bag style foot, but I understand that would increase set up time in the field.

It functions well with the flip up but the middle Velcro’s together and doesn’t work well. The back of the bonnet ripped during 2nd hunt and a piece of tubing holding the bonnet together broke on the 3rd hunt
