Drake Floating Side Opening Gun Case

This is an excellent case. The case provides excellent protection for your gun. On the off chance that your case gets soaked inside and out while hunting it can be easily dried in time for the next morning. The side opening is a real break through for duck hunting allowing the case to opened completely for drying. I only wish I had thought of it, then I could hunt almost as much as I want.

Works as described. Took a beating on a tough hunt. Once I got home I saw that the outer fabric had ripped The D loop at the barrel end of the cases was pulled off when it got caught unloaded from the truck. This ripped the entire fabric piece out exposing the plastic and padding underneath.

I've had this case for ten years and it's still holding strong. Velcro and snap buttons have held up, case is easy to clean after a muddy boat ride, and opens all the way to dry out after being hosed off. Buying another as a gift.

This floating gun case is a must when boating in. It also protects your gun when transporting in your vehicles. We have four of them and take them to Canada every year and have never had an issue. Highly recommend this gun case.

I have 2 of these, one for my main duck hunting gun and another for my backup shotgun that goes with me on hunts. Being able to float with a gun in it has saved me a couple times from having to get wet first thing on a freezing morning. it protects the gun well and keeps it secured. these things are not going to open without intent so no worries of your gun slipping out either. they work great as a makeshift paddle with a gun in them as well if your in a bind. the sidepocket is good for a choketube and tool or a couple shells. i would buy this case for my other guns if they needed the extreme protection that these provide.
