Sizing is terrible
by Ryley Wallin
Terrible sizing 5’9” 190lbs ordered the size 11 regular and looked like the Michelin man with the waders going over my eyes. Returned and ordered the short slim and they are the exact same fit. Very warm though.
Waders are huge
by David
Sizing is beyond terrible. I’m 6’ 1” and 215 lbs with a size 13 shoe. I spoke to customer service and he said I needed a regular. If I was 6’ 8” and 350 they might fit. Sending them back tomorrow.
Bad sizing
by Dean
Good quality wader but the sizing is terrible. I'm 5'9 175lbs and a size 11. They seemed like they would be large enough for the Hulk to fit in!
Great waders!
by Jim
I’ve worn these waders on 5 hunts so far.. Super comfortable. Boots are some of the most comfortable boots I’ve worn in a pair of waders, if you hunt refuges and plan on doing a lot of walking these are great. The tear away liner is really warm.. too warm for early season in California. Mine are roomy but not huge. I know some people have had problems with drakes, I’ve never really had any problems with any pairs I’ve had, maybe I’ve just lucked out.
be careful with sizing
by Bigdumbandugly
Nice quality. Poor sizing. I'm 6'5" and 270#. I figured the sizing issues were just smaller guys having trouble. But no! These are made for a wearer at least 6'8" and much wider. The product seems to be very warm. And well made. Will try the regular rather than the King
Awful sizing
by Anon
Ordered regular size, way oversized. Returned and tried stout size... still HUGE. Would fit a 400 pound very tall man.
High quality
by Cade
I wear a size 9 wader and mine fit well. They have a good amount of room but no where near as big as banded which is good. Very warm and very durable so far. No leaks and no cuts yet. The only nit pick I have is the liner is velcro attached and hard to get in as well as they rip off the Velcro easily when jamming your foot in the leg.
Terrible Sizing, but great product.

The rest of these reviews are accurate. I've been wearing all Drake gear for some time, but these have to be the worst sizes. I'm 6'1 210lbs, and I ordered a 11 Regular (just like previous waders). These would fit someone who is about 6'7 and VERY VERY WIDE. The best on the waders comes to the middle of my ribs! I wore them with wool socks, and that seemed to help a little on the boots. With all of these being said, these are in fact great waders. I would certainly order them again, but probably in a 10 short I'm guessing.
Leaky Waders/Worthless Warranty
by Jared M.
Leaked on the first hunt, tried to use the warranty, wouldn’t honor it because it could have been caused by the hunt conditions...so unless it has a gaping hole in it right out of the box...-20/5
Honesty time

Completely honest review: I’m 6’2” and 250 pounds. I wear a size 13 Nike shoe. I ordered the regular 13 in these waders. Shoe fit is spot on for me and extremely comfortable. The fit around waist is loose but I like to be able to move and stack layers and these allow that. Im not a picture princess like some of the duck hunters on here bashing the fit because they wanted slim fit waders for their Instagram pictures. These are solid waders. 4 stars bc I find the tear away liner won’t stay in place when I’m sweaty and are taking these off.
Waders Leak
by Cameron
Not satisfied. Small leak along the inner seam within 5 hunts in 2019. 2020 did not get out much, but the few times I did, they leaked at the seams along the inside of the leg. This leak eventually grew worse after waders sat in the garage untouched, and the first two trips of 2021 ended in water filled boots. Sizing is also off, these are huge and do not fit thin people very well. Not happy with a $350 pair of waders.
True to size
by Wade Sperry
I read the reviews about sizing, so I had my wife measure me and referred to the size chart. I figured if it didn’t fit, I’d send them back. I’m 5’10”, 200 pounds, size 10 1/2 boot. I ordered the size 11 regular, and they fit great. Very easy to get in and out of. The only reason for four stars is because I haven’t been able to test the durability yet. I’ve been pleased with all my other Drake equipment, and so far, I don’t know why these waders will be any different.
Best waders I've owned
by Scott
Very comfortable boots very warm. Was hunting this morning in about 30 degrees with one thin layer under the liner. Size is comfortable for m
me with a jacket under the waders. I'm 5'10" 210 lbs with a beer belly
Wish I would have bought a different brand.
by Lucas
Wader lasted great for just over a month then the inseam started leaking just above my knee leaving me with leg full of water and a mile walk out in single digit temperatures. Needless to say I’m extremely disappointed with this item. I expected higher quality and a longer lifespan out of these waders. I will never buy anything with the drake brand again!
Tear out liner
by Kris
Sizing sucks quality sucks not worth $360
Horrible sizing
by caleb
These things are terrible. Leaks and they would only fit me if I was Shaq or 7’2 400lbs. I got the regular as a 6’5 205lb guy and they fit me as if I was 5’. Knew I should have just got the Sitka ones when I had the chance.
Great wader for the price
by Chad Frank
Overall I would give these waders 5 stars. I gave them 4 because I took the removable liners out and it’s not super easy getting them back in. Will probably keep them out in the future and later more underneath. Other than that I was very satisfied.
Leaky waders
by James
Just got them before season and they're comfortable with a lot of room but started leaking at the knee on my 4th hunt with them. Didn't do anything to cause a leak they just started leaking.
Leak bad
by Trey
Started leaking after the 3rd hunt on the seam. Ended up filling my entire leg with water after 10 minutes.
They Leak
by Weston
I hunt in Idaho where our average hunting temps are in the 20s, that is not fun when your boots are full of water. Both leg seems leaked after the 4th hunt. If you need to break ice, I wouldn't advise buying these waders as they get scratch marks on the outside that essentially let water in as well. Horrible product from Drake. Upgrade to Sitka or Chene if you can it's worth the money to be warm and dry.
Solid
by J.Rick
Solid waders. Comfortable warm boot and breathable upper with room for layers.
great if you like wet feet!
by J. Fischer
I purchased these in 2020. It took no less than 6 trips for the seems to leak. I reached out to drake because they were under warranty. They sent me a new pair, only for those to leak 3 months into using them. 350.00 is a lot of money to spend on something that won't keep my feet dry!
Do not buy. Terrible liner design
by Howard K
The liner won’t stay in place. I am going to take mine back. Terrible design. I have hunted ducks for 65 years and these are poorly designed, especially if you have big calves. What were the designers thinking?
Boot size is different than ours.
by Big Duck
Ordered the stout size 13. Couldn’t get my foot in the boot. Ended up getting the King size 14. The sizes aren’t the same in China. They should make people aware. Mack’s was great to deal with.
Drake & MPW- A winning combination
by JD
1)Excellent product; easy to move in and warm.
2)MPW doesn't play when getting order out. I ordered the same pair from another company and when they didn't arrive timely, I ordered from MPW. These arrived two days before the others getting me in the field earlier.
