Browning BXD patterns as well as shells at twice the cost!
by Ken B
Patterned my new Browning A5 Wicked Wing today with both Carlson and Patternmaster choke tubes. The Browning BXD shells patterned as well as Hevi Metal and Hevi Steel and much better than Blindside and Blackcloud. I was very impressed and will be buying two cases!
Excellent Duck Load
Great stuff! Used in my remington versa max and performed fantastic. Went to a little more open choke with this ammo because it stays tight and has a very short shot string which is awesome. Will be buying two more cases this year to stock up.
Proves to be top of the line shell
by Mj Walling
Bought these for the upcoming waterfowl season. Patterned at around 40 yards and held a significantly tighter pattern than Kent and Winchester shells.
Watch for Rebate!! The wording is very general for their rebate. It states they need you to "fill out the rebate, UPC codes, and receipt of purchase". I purchased a case in Aug. I sent the rebate in that week. They wanted the UPC code on EVERY individual box of shells. I sent the UPC code from the case that the box of shells came in. I am just now receiving the rebate back and it was rejected for not placing all 10 box of shells UPC codes in the letter (4 months later and near the end of duck season.
I bought a case of these shells last year. Man does my Benelli like them. Tight patterns! I guide near lake Mattamuskeet so.. my shots are normally follow ups or crippled birds on the leave. One of my coworkers is using them and loves them too.
Best Steel Shells out there...
On my third season with these, No. 2s and 4s. This stuff patterns fantastic out my Beretta, LM Carlson non ported choke. These basically solved almost all our cripples, only had two all last season... These are in my experience the best steel shells I have patterned and used and we have been through them all...
This is my second year using them and I couldn't be happier
Performed above average

This is perfect for the lake or open fields. The spread stayed tight and I killed plenty more ducks at longer range. No hang ups the whole season. The shell performed well but I do a lot of close range hunting and the tighter pattern didn’t come to my advantage .

Used in Saginaw this year and had very few cripples.
Great on ducks
Very deadly on ducks and will drop close in geese as well! Buying my second case and the rebate is great!
These are the worst shells. I had 5 duds in 6 boxes. I would never buy them again. At any price..
Just received my second case, good shells, but please fix the rebate process
by Happy Hunter
Great shells, good consistent pattern. We use #2 and have noticed improvements in our drop rate, particularly at longer range. Love Browning products. Just bought second case. 2 stars? Not normally a negative review guy, but...The Rebate...nice to have and thanks Browning for offering it. But, the need to meticulously cut and peel the original UPC off each individual box without ruining the boxes for use, well...feels designed to be difficult and make people give up - taints your opinion of the Browning Brand. The hour it took me to complete the rebate for a case is worth it for $50, I guess, but more of a PIA than needed for sure.
These shells are garbage. I bought a case of them and out of the first two boxes 9 of them were duds. The shells had not been wet at all. I would have given them a zero but that isn’t a option.
Worth the money
Love these! killed decoying geese great! Buddy was impressed and ordered a case also.
