The unique Blink technology, is a gas-operating system that is capable of delivering two shots in less than half a second, while also integrating an easy-maintenance self-cleaning piston. The cold-hammer forged barrel is made of Beretta's Steelium with a chrome-plated bore and Optima Bore HP choke tubes. The receiver has a bright-blue finish, while the stock has a Micro-Core buttpad. Nice shotgun but comb too high for most shooters
by Cambman
I called Mack's and they shipped the gun the very next day. The gun ships with the T40 DX (right handed) cast off installed. The drop at the heel is 40mm as shipped.. I could not mount the gun properly. The shims with the gun only allow you to increase the heel drop 45mm (T45 DX), which lowers the comb 5mm more
I would recommend anyone buying a shotgun read the Stock Fitters Bible by Rollin Oswald. It really helped me get the right fit on the gun. By using digital calipers I determined the T45 DX shims are virtually identical to the Beretta C60 DX shim, to I installed the C65 DX shim which now gives me 50mm drop at the heel and10mm additional comb drop,
I determined you can install the Beretta A400 Sporting set stock if you need more drop at the heel, which could be useful for skeet. So far I have not had any mechanical issues with the gun. It would be nice if Beretta didn't obfuscate the information that can help buyers fit their gun properly.
