Decent Product

by paul

Very comfortable jacket, but liner could be slightly heavier. Price is comparable to other sights, but jacket is probably slightly over priced.

Good coat based on initial use.

by Burch

I purchased this jacket in the timber camo. It has some nice features with the magnetic pockets and shell pockets that have a tent like structure that holds them open for easy access When needed. I had a light weight jacket that I wore under this coat for a upper 20's morning, and I feel like it will keep me warm down into the single digit windchills(base layers require obviously). For the milder days the liner can come out and still be able to hunt with this coat. Seems like quality jacket so far. Time will tell.

The great, the good, the unknown

by Chuck

40 years as a waterfowler, 20-30 days a year for the last 30. So not over the top but enough to use gear.Been in a Columbia for the last 20 years, same coat, been an absolute warhorse.
Anyhow, if I had paid full price for this coat I probably would’ve sent it back. I didn’t though, so have a little patience and wait for what you want when it’s on sale for $150-$175.
This coat is the lightest but warmest coat, I personally have worn....ever!!!hunted the last 3 days in 22* 6mph wind in a t shirt and this coat and was warm. Added a fleece shirt- toasty, add windproof fleece vest heaven. Prolly be comfy in 0*. The hand warmer “flaps” I thought would be a bit beefier, are surprisingly effective. Not so much, if you are one to load you upper outer pockets up with things though, phones & license fine, much more becomes a bit of a pain to dig your hands in, shell pocket & lower pockets fine, a bit tight with gloves. Only real unknown will it last? Will it be a warhorse?

Nice Coat... Might need to order the next size up

by Capt Curt

Nice jacket but I was disappointed in the sizing. My current (20 year old) jacket is a 2XL standard length, but I am tall (6'-4"). I wanted to get a good new jacket and ordered this in 2XL Tall. Well it was a good bit snugger all the way around than my old jacket and shorter too. The body was confining for hunting motions, and I know its a wader jacket, but it barely came down to my waist. I can't imagine what the standard length would have been. I would have tried a 3XL Tall but for some reason they don't make 3XL in a Tall. I am returning it and ordering a Drake 3-in-1. I like freedom of motion (waterfowl hunter) so i stepped up to a 3XL in the Drake. If the measurement chart is right, it should be fine. More to come.

Almost perfect for mountain hunting

by JB

This will be my second one of these jackets. I use it for turkey, antelope and elk hunting. The liner jacket dries fast when laid out separately. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it needs a pit zip. Banded would most certainly sell many of these to elk and deer hunters if the pit zip was added. The magnetic chest pocket is perfect.
