nice jacket, but not outstanding

by

This is a very nice jacket overall - comfortable, easy to move in, nice pockets for storage. But, it's not quite done well enough to justify the price, IMO. I bought this jacket a couple months ago for duck/goose hunting in the PNW. If they fixed a few issues, I would buy it again, but as-is, I would say there are probably better options for the money. If there were a 3.5 star rating, that's what I would have given it, but it's not quite 4-stars.

- the primaloft lining is too warm for any amount of activity (setting decoys, walking to the blind, etc...). You *will* sweat and there is very little breathing that happens.
- when even slightly damp, the liner sticks to you like glue; would be nice if the material touching the wearer were anything but nylon
- the main zipper is way too fine-toothed; any amount of debris will cause difficulty. Something heavier-duty (YKK) would work better.
- the Molle attachment loops are mostly useless; shell holders would be more useful

Excellent jacket overall. Very warm, windproof and waterproof. The jacket fits extremely well and is long enough.
I am 6'3" and not all jackets are long enough for me. The only minor complaint I have is it could use a few more pockets......but that is a very minor issue.
