Avery Field Corn. One dozen life-like molded ears of corn! Does not include husks. Passing waterfowl won't be able to resist the sight of what looks like other birds feeding on corn. These lifelike molded polyethylene ears have a late-season corn color and a molded line loop for connecting the ear to a decoy. One dozen 8-1/4 inches long life sized ears per carton.

It works great in fooling the geese into thinking there is real corn on the ground. My only complaint is that no matter how i cook it, it doesn't taste good.

My experince on corn decoys in your spread.

Some people frown at the idea of having corn decoys. To them I say it is no different than brushing you blind or pit. I can't say it has ever hurt me out in the field using corn decoys, other than hearing some guy complaining I'm baiting birds to the green jeans. I would say if used properly this is a great encourager in the late season when everyone's food has been depleted. Early season is still to question if it helps, but if you don't have a fair yield try supplementing with decoys for those migrators. Like with everything the local birds are going to leery, but you encourage them with some easy grub you might have your own dinner.
