These kinda threw me off. I try to buy a middle road shell with a known name. When I saw the Apex, I was excited because of their name with Turkey loads. Bought 2 cases and shot every shell. 0 issues with cycling, very clean burn, and some serious down range power. I’m not sure what they pack these things with, but there was more than one time this season where I even surprised myself on some long shots at cripples…turned them belly up when I was just trying to slow them down.
Won’t be buying anything else for a while…unless Hevi goes on some kinda major sale.

Oddly enough I bought the case online and shipped to my house but had to buy a single box of these same shells while in Stuttgart. These performed well. Only issue, though it is not really an issue just an oddity, some of the "brass" was actually brass colored, other shells in the same box, maybe 8-10 shells, were chrome or silver colored, almost like the brass wash did not take on the hulls. They all went bang though and some even knocked down some ducks. The cases are blue in these if anyone is wondering.

This is the first time I’ve used these shells and I’m totally impressed. They pattern well and knock the crap out of ducks. I will be using them for now on! Of course Mack’s prairie wings customer service was outstanding, I received my shells sooner than I expected. Thank you!!!
