savage 220 and apex ninja 8.5's

purchased these shells for my new savage 220 turkey gun, misjudged distance on my first turkey took a 50 yrd shot turned out to be a 65 yrd shot. the turkey never moved after I shot him, I am firm believer in my gun and these ninja 8.5's
