Product Description

Zink Avian-X AXP Over-Sized Full Body Mallard Decoys with 6 Slot Bag feature true to life postures of a feeding flock of mallards that have been created at the hands of World Champion Carver, Rick Johannsen. Paint schemes were also created, not only to look like the real bird but also to create contrast in the dark and light colors of the duck, this allows the decoys to be seen from a greater distance in a variety of field conditions. AXP Field Mallards are built to last, molded from an advanced rubberized molding material and non-chip paint.

Decoys are available in 6 packs that include 4 drakes (1 low-head, 1 stretch feeder and 2 feeders) and 2 hens (1 high-head and 1 stretch feeder). Decoys feature a wind activated motion system that rest atop a heavy duty 17 inch field stake.

Pack also includes a heavy duty 6-slot decoy bag that will keep your decoys organized and clean for years of use.

Quality
How is the quality? Does it have every feature you need?
The decoys look great and seem to be very well built. The paint stands up to use
Use
Is this item easy to use, or does it require prior knowledge/skill?
A nice feature is that the decoys are allowed to move back and forth thru any 90 degree area. This is accomplished by the stake have a small tab sticking out and the inside of the decoy have 4 "stops" in a cross pattern. Set the decoy down on the stake aimed in any general direction and it will stay with that 90 degree area.
Features
What do you like or dislike about the features?
There is nothing that I don't like about the decoys. I do wish the came with a wire loop stand since trying to get the field stake into frozen ground is impossible around here for the late season.
Cost
Do you think this item is a good value?
Anytime a duck decoy costs $30 each you have to question it's value. I think that since the Dakotas come with a flocked head for about the same price that these are somewhat over priced.
Flyway
Which flyway do you hunt in?
Eastern
Realism
Does this item have a realistic appearance? Do they float well, stand well?
They look very real and the large size adds to their effectiveness.
Use
What is the primary use of this item?
late season field hunts for ducks and geese

Please give your general opinion of this product.
These decoys look great and should withstand years of hauling in and out of fields.

Customer Comments
"I was very excited to find the jacket I wanted was considerably cheaper in price than any where else I had looked. I also had my order with in 4 days which was wonderful but very unexpected this close to Christmas. I will be shopping at Mack's again!" Dec 2014
