well its looking to be like i made a mistake when my dog was younger i never taught him to heel its just like i skipped over that ... and now im paying for it. any tips or help on training a lab to heel

  A short lead, pinch collar and or a heeling stick should help fix your problem. How old is your dog? You can probably find some videos on line to help you.

my dog this dec. will be one years old ... i have a few videos so mabye they could help a little more

  At one your dog should not have much of an issue with learning to heel. Remember to be fair, firm and maintain your standard.

Im not a pro trainer but this is what used a short lead and a pinch collor and a e-collor also the book water dog hope this helps.
