These hold a fairly tight 4 inch group on paper at 30 yards. This three pellet load should be loaded to a higher velocity for what it is designed for. These .360" inch diameter 000 pellets shoot close to the same size group at 30 yards irregardless of the choke used. It likely has a lot to do with the fact that most 410 bore full chokes are on average a .396" internal diameter which is a larger inside diameter than the 000 pellet's outside diameter itself. A lot of these brand makers use a stump wad instead of a longer length wad to same production costs. I e-mailed Winchester on this but evidently its not something they want to take the time to get back to a guy on. I will say this 2 1/2 inch three pellet load does hold a tight group that the 2 1/2 inch so called "defense" handgun loads that have shot and disc combination does not.
