Quality
How is the quality? Does it have every feature you need?
Very good.
Features
What do you like or dislike about the features?
I'm an old hunter and pool man and I bought these gloves mainly for pool cleaning on a commercial basis in the cold months here in south Louisiana and for some hunting as well. I have a very old pair of insulated Gore-Tex gloves that finally after many years of pool cleaning and hunting finally lost the water repellency and these are meant to replace those. What I can tell you after several uses so far (I've only had them for a couple of weeks) is that the gloves are indeed waterproof and VERY warm. The inner pair of gloves that can be used on their own are NOT waterproof as I found out today by testing them in a pool but I'm sure they're not expected to be. When the inner and outer glove is used together it is very warm indeed and waterproof. The build quality of these gloves seems good and I can tell that some thought went into the design.
Cost
Do you think this item is a good value?
I know there are some less expensive gloves out there and they have their place but if you're like me and appreciate quality when in the elements, spend the money and get these gloves. Note that they only go up the forearm about halfway.
Flyway
Which flyway do you hunt in?
I hunt in the marshes, woods, and rice fields of south Louisiana mostly.
Overall
Please give your general opinion of this product.
My overall opinion of these gloves is that they are high quality, waterproof, warm, and a little pricey but the best often is. Any experienced hunter knows that all of our body parts get colder the longer we sit still and note that I've only so far used these gloves while moving but I'm sure that these would be about as warm as can possibly be during a long still/wet hunt.
