A Superb Basic!
Quality:
The knitting is smooth without errors or knots and the sewing throughout is tight with wide, solid seams and no loose threads.
Features:
This sweater has a fine fit and comfortable feel with great warmth under cold conditions. The zipper is smooth and the collar reaches high around the neck.
Cost:
Similar items by other vendors cost a 1/3 more and offer more value than this excellent garment.
Overall:
A good outer garment (lighter than a jacket) is field must but often need to be weather resistant from rain and snow. This sweater does all of that keeping the wearer dry and warm. It comes in at a good price and the workmanship is first quality. A genuine winner!

A cold weather sweater that fits larger guys.
Quality:
I think it is worth the money. It seems to be well made and has help up looking new after one season chasing waterfowl.
Features:
I bought the 3XL because I like things to fit loose and I did not want a reduced range of motion when swinging a gun from awkward positions. The 1/4 zip allows venting but in general this sweater should only been worn on colder days. It is heavy but not too heavy. The oil cloth finish reduces abrasions caused by decoy sacks and also wards off moisture from light rain, fog, mist, etc.
Cost:
Yes. I replaced a Filson guide sweater with the McAlister Duration Sweater for $100 less and it fits better.
Overall:
I like the sweater and would recommend it to friends. it is available in larger sizes, the oil cloth stops abrasions from decoy sacks and "light" moisture. This is a cold weather sweater ideally suited to waterfowl hunting and winter steelhead fishing. Do not wear it hunting upland game unless it is really cold out.
