Down south in louisiana we shoot at birds that have been shot at all the way down from Canada. As a guide i pull the trigger last guiding sports. Hunting geese the SW12690 Full #2 out patterns every choke tube i've tried using # 2 & BB size shot. it will keep a pattern together for 75 yards at 60% with steel. tungsten will hold a little further. I have used a range finder every time at the pattern board. if you use an 870 as i do you won't find a better quality choke tube or one that will pattern better. These chokes are for the hunter that pass shoots not sky busts. I say pass shoot because I kill geese at 60- 75 yards consistently, & they fall dead. I have been asked time & time again are you using buckshot or something by hunters in the blind. i say no however I am using tungsten BB shot & a trulock super waterfowl long range choke tube though.
