Weighted Keel Does Not Hold Up
How is the quality? Does it have every feature you need?
The Snap-Lock keel does not hold up after several seasons. They break off and render the decoy useless. The paint hold up and they look fine but the quality/design of the keel is lacking. At the price of $60 for a half dozen I would rather spend a little more and get G & H decoys.
Would you recommend this item?
Do you think this item is a good value?
No, spend a few dollars more and get G & H decoys.
Which flyway do you hunt in?
Does this item have a realistic appearance? Do they float well, stand well?
They look fine and will decoy ducks into your spread. However, they will not float well or stay in place without the keel. You will lose the keel at some point.
What is the primary use of this item?
Please give your general opinion of this product.
They will work fine if you only hunt once or twice a year, but if you hunt every weekend and throw big spreads (100 +), they do not hold up.
