Communications pocket is awesome! You can move in the coat even though it really does block the wind. Quiet.

The quality of this item is top notch. Perhaps a slightly larger-toothed zipper or just bigger zipper pulls, etc. for use with gloves. Love the neck guard at the top.

What do you like or dislike about the features?
The tall size fits great and affords lots of free movement. Very warm. It doesn't breath at all but it doesn't let the wind blow through it either. So you can build up quite a bit of dampness on the inside but it still keeps you woarm. The one thing I would definately change about this jack is the hand pockets need zippers on them. If you put anything in those pockets, its going to fall out the minute you lay down in a blind or on a river bank. Or just angle the pockets "up" a little more but zippers would be better since its an outer-layer jacket.

Absolutely, probably the one thing made by Avery that might actually be worth what you pay for it.

This is a good jacket. I would generally only recommend it as an outer layer, not an insulating layer since it traps moisture but it was plenty warm in zero degrees as an outlayer with a few insulating under it. Puts zippers on the pockets and its gets 5 stars easy.
