This is done to insure proper tongue placement giving the user easier control of the call. Features strategically placed notches in the middle and upper reeds, allowing for a wide range of sounds. All mouth calls should be washed thoroughly before using to ensure proper call functionality. Simply rinsing them for a few minutes with tap water should be sufficient.
