Zeiss Victory FL Straight Body Diascope Spotting Scope - 20-60x85Zeiss presents its newly developed top-class spotting scopes - the Zeiss 20-60x85 Victory FL Diascope. The optical systems re-designed on the basis of the Carl Zeiss Advanced Optics System (AOS) use glass material containing fluorine ions, which provides the objective lenses with superachromatic properties -- with natural color rendition down to even the finest nuances, superb detail recognition and no color fringes.
Two wide-angle eyepieces with fixed magnifications and one Vario eyepiece are available -- including a bayonet mount with a safety catch for rapid eyepiece change. The ergonomically designed dual focusing system features two wheels for fast focusing and, if required, fine focusing with just one hand. Additional features include rotatable, generously dimensioned tripod bracket; extensible sunshade with sight and leakage test and nitrogen filling.
Needless to say, the scopes are all provided with Carl Zeiss T* multilayer coating on all glass-to-air surfaces for maximum transmission and natural color rendition, and Carl Zeiss P* coating on the roof surfaces of the reversal prisms for maximum resolution.
The Zeiss Victory Diascope 85 T* FL is the full-sized version of Zeiss’ premier quality spotting scope. Surprisingly light and compact for an 85-mm scope, the Zeiss Victory Diascope weighs just over 51 ounces and is only 13.6 inches long. The wide objective lens of the Victory Diascope 85 T* FL provides superb light throughput when combined with Zeiss’ fluorite ion glass, proprietary T* multi-coatings and generally excellent optics. All Zeiss Diascopes are equipped with the new water-shedding LotuTec coating on the lenses.
Like all Diascopes, the 85-mm version is fully digiscoping adaptable. The Zeiss Diascope 85 T* FL is fully waterproof and nitrogen-purged to be internally fog-proof. The extendable lens hood has a notch sighting device to make finding the target easy with the 85-mm Victory Diascopes. The Zeiss Victory Diascope 85 T* FL comes in a choice of green or silver body types.
