Columbia River Spear Point Folder Elishewitz Horus Knife
The Horus frame features an unusual choiled pistol-grip curve. The stainless
steel InterFrame build has one locking liner and sculpted black textured Zytel
scales. The wild honey gold variegated inlays are the latest CPL composite, like
that used in modern bowling balls. Injection molding makes each one unique.
The blade is AUS 8 premium stainless steel in a bead-blast finish. They call it an "Elishewitz stealth grind" because it is composed almost entirely of flat angular facets. The result is a very strong blade with a strong central spine which extends very near to the tip. Of course, this design demands their patented OutBurst assisted opening mechanism, which instantly springs the blade fully open after you have opened the blade approximately 30 degrees. The OutBurst mechanism can be removed to allow fast, conventional one-hand opening using the custom Elishewitz ramped thumb stud, depending on your preference or local ordinances.
