The Boker Stockman Appaloosa Folder Knives are a brand new series of traditional folding knives dedicated to the famous Appaloosa horse. Appaloosa horses were introduced to Mexico by the Spanish in the 1500’s, and later spread throughout North America. Over the years, their name has transformed from “A Palouse Horse” to “Palousey” to “Appalousey” and finally to “Appaloosa.” Characterized by their incredible strength and stamina, these horses can be distinguished by their unique coloring – various shades of brown and white, in the form of irregular spots. This was the inspiration for the beautifully structured bone handles Boker chose for this series. The dark and light spots on the scales make each knife truly unique.
Boker has also designed a special new Boker shield, exclusively for this premium series. The three blades are made of C-75 carbon steel, Stockman pattern, 4 inches closed and are characterized by their incredible strength and stamina.
