The Columbia River M16-13SF Slim Profile Aluminum Folding Fixed Blade Knife has a unique design offering a combination of Carson M16 Series features. The dual grind Tanto blades were specified because they offer maximum strength. The open build allows two Carson Flippers to be incorporated, resulting in a true hilt— very rare in folding knives.
Blade, frame and hardware are non-reflective tactical black. Blades receive black titanium nitride coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Kit’s trademark dual checkered thumb studs are standard. On all models, one-hand opening and closing is quick and smooth. All SF models feature Columbia River’s exclusive patented AutoLAWKS automatic safety, which turns the folders into virtual fixed blades automatically.
The aluminum frame SFs feature contoured scales of textured, hard anodized 6061 T6 aluminum, with a perimeter radius for a comfortable grip with or without gloves, stainless steel liners with friction grooves, and premium AUS 8 stainless steel blades. Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point Serrated edges are standard.
The M16-13SF Slim Profile Aluminum features a 3.50 inch (8.9 cm) dual grind Tanto blade and is ideal when weight and bulk must be kept to a minimum.
All knives in this series are equipped with clip options that allow four-position carry on belts or webbing. Caution: These knives are not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry.
