The Knives of Alaska Alpha Wolf Drop Point Hunter Knife features a Full-tang drop-point hunter-style blade, hand sharpened with special convex edge, and is razor sharp. Slender .100 inch thick blade reduces drag when skinning and fleshing, and is easy to resharpen. Steel choices are Crucibles CPMS30V, a U.S.A. made stainless steel that has a dense fine-grained structure that holds a great edge; and D2 Tool Steel, one of the great traditional standbys of custom knifemakers and Knives of Alaska. Most Knives of Alaska products are fixed blade knives. This means the blade does not fold, like a pocket knife, but is kept in a sheath.
