Installation is as simple as installing the wire around the perimeter and plugging in the transmitter with the included adapter. Your dog wears a collar that receives a signal from the wire if he ventures too close to the perimeter. Follow the included training instructions to get your dog aquainted with his new boundaries and your dog will be staying safe at home in no time.

Subject:I would recommend this fence to anyone!!! It's great!
Quality: This is a very well built fence box and collar. Very easy to use and setup. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the box on the collar, but it's waterproof. All Sportdog Brand products are very well built and all associates are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Features: I like that you can set the level of correction to fit your dog's temperment. Once our dog learned her boundaries we backed the level of correction off to just beep and vibrate only. I also like that you can expand this system for multiple dogs by buying more collars. Tha lightning protection also is a plus especially if you live in an area with alot of power surges or storms. This system comes with enough wire for most home owners and the system can run up to 100 acres of underground wire.
Cost: I think for the money, this system is very hard to beat. This system has everything you need to fence in 1.25 acres. It is very user friendly and does a great job at keeping your dog where you want it or out of areas you don't want them. I would highly recommend this system. I have been around other systems and I think this system for $220. is the best on the market!
