Product Description

Hunting is one of the most prevalent sports in the country so Southern Marsh commemorates a shirt recognizing the sport and includes some history in the design. In 1934 the US government passed the Migratory Bird Hunting Stamp Act, better known as the Federal Duck Stamp Act. This program required hunters to purchase a special stamp, in addition to a regular hunting license, to hunt migratory waterfowl. Revenues from the program provided the majority of funding for conservation for many decades and funded the purchase of the National Wildlife Refuge for waterfowl habitat. The Duck Stamp act has been described as ‘one of the most successful conservation programs ever devised’ and has ensured the safety of waterfowl populations for generations to come. Duck stamps have also become collectible items in their own right amongst collectors who appreciate the history and culture the stamps capture.

The Southern Marsh Youth Pheasant Short Sleeve T-Shirt is part of the Duck Stamp Series that embodies the historic program. The design recognizes an element that the Federal Duck Stamp program was designed to preserve. This lightweight cotton tee is made of ultra soft spun fabric, has a front chest pocket and a full color screen printed graphic depicting the stamp act.

Southern Marsh Youth Pheasant Short Sleeve T-Shirt Features:
