| How is the quality? Does it have every feature you need? |
| I do winter waterfowl research in western Tennessee, spending time all day in cold, wet, rainy, windy conditions observing waterfowl. I have worn this hat (with no other head covering) in sleet, snow, rain, and wind, crawling in brush, fields,and marshes, and it performs well. Keeps you warm and dry.
I wear this thing every day and I love it. |

| What do you like or dislike about the features? |
| I like the ear flaps because they actually stay up and don't constantly flop down. They also work so that when your head is level or looking up (which happens all the time hunting waterfowl), the flaps hug onto your ears and block the wind from getting in. Keeps your ears warm and dry. Mine had an ear flap that was a little shorter than the other, so you need to make sure both flaps are equally sized. Either way, still very comfortable and functional.
I also love the cinch on the back because you can wear a face mask underneath, and you don't have to worry about the one-size problem that Filson caps have. |

| Yes, definitely worth the cost. You can buy a Filson cap and spend a lot of time waxing, deodorizing, etc., but the Gore-Tex/fleece is easier to take care of. |
